Ipswich & Peterborough speedway solo rider
I started my speedway career in 1976, signing on for Ipswich Speedway. Later to be loaned out to Peterborough Speedway, where I became one of the clubs top three scorers of all time. I went onto qualify for the World Under 21 final and helped Peterborough Speedway to win the four team championship.
After doing the apprenticeship at Peterborough I went full time with Ipswich Speedway, where we won the British League championship. Ipswich still remain one of the all time great speedway clubs.
In the late 80s I finished my successful career off at Peterborough Speedway, before migrating to Australia, where I continued my speedway career as a hobby rather than a career. I am still quite successful, even though I am classed more as a veteran now.

From 1991 Nigel road in Australia at a very successful level, with many trophies. Finishing in the top three in the state, on a number of occasions. Also several track records at different speedway tracks. |
